Am I Ready

Am I Ready For LASIK?

LASIKWhat Motivates You?

Congratulations! By getting this far exploring your LASIK options, the chances are excellent that you are ready for LASIK. Since 1998 I have consulted with thousands of patients learning what motivates them to proceed with LASIK surgery. Typical answers include the hassle of glasses and contacts, the freedom to pursue hobbies and recreational activities without worries about vision problems, and the fear of losing glasses or a contact in a critical situation. Most of my patients have thought about having surgery for years, and typically have compared notes with many friends or co-workers who have already had LASIK. In fact, most patients come in for a LASIK consultation with me based on a direct referral from a friend or family member they trust.

Are You Ready?

Taking the first step toward better vision is easy if you have a little guidance along the way. Check out my patient videos to hear about the EyeHealth LASIK experience firsthand. Even better, talk to my LASIK coordinator about what motivates you and she'll give you options including a free consultation with me to find out if you are a good candidate for LASIK. In addition, she can help you learn more about LASIK and even give you the chance to speak directly to one of our patients who shared your same concerns before surgery.

We’re All In The Same Boat

Most people who decide to check out their LASIK options have similar goals and share similar complaints about their glasses or contacts. Over the years I've learned that unfounded fears about the safety and cost of LASIK often stop people from taking that next step and learning the real facts about LASIK. Nothing I do is more gratifying than helping people to get over that hurdle and learning what a difference LASIK can make in their lives. After all, I had LASIK in 1998 myself, and it was one of the best decisions in my life.
