Even though I have performed thousands of LASIK procedures at EyeHealth Northwest, I understand that for you this is the first and only time. Many of my patient's have never had any surgery before and naturally they are nervous about what to expect with LASIK. I believe our comprehensive approach to education in written, verbal, and visual formats prior to LASIK is the best antidote for the usual apprehension patients experience. For interested patients I have even created a program where they can talk through their concerns with one of my prior patients who experienced similar concerns before LASIK.
