Cataract is the leading cause of preventable blindness in the world today.The amazing technology we use in the U.S. is simply not available or affordable in much of the world.Fortunately there are low cost, low-tech alternatives that can offer the promise of restoring sight to those most in need.

In 2009, I conceived a program called Give2020, which is being developed to help connect our cataract patients in the U.S. with those in the developing world who need our support.Amazingly, as little as $20 can allow an impoverished patient to get sight-restoring surgery.

Our efforts to develop this non-profit are still in the early stages, but I look forward to your feedback on our initial brochure shown below.Our goal is to become operational in 2010.
