LASIK Surgery: Your Guide to Better Vision
Dr Scott Grealish

My personal goal for every patient seeking advice about LASIK surgery is to give them the information they need to make a good decision for their vision. Experience has shown that nothing accomplishes that goal better than a personal one on one consultation in our clinic. But what if you are still in the early stages of decision making, or simply looking for more detailed information at any point in the process? I think the Internet can play a valuable educational role for many patients, but only when the information is trustworthy and accessible. With that in mind I have written an extensive series of articles and created tools to help patients get good education about LASIK surgery in one place. I’m sure this information is more extensive than most patients will ever need, and yet I’m equally sure I haven’t answered every question some may have about their LASIK options. At the very least I hope patients will learn enough to move confidently down the path toward LASIK. The rewards are many and gratifying for all of us who have personally experienced the triumph of medical technology that is modern LASIK.
