This Is Where It Gets Really Good

After years of debating whether to have LASIK or not, most of my patients get on the phone hours after surgery telling their friends they should have done it years ago. Since most of my staff and I have had LASIK ourselves, we understand the feeling. We do, however, encourage patients to take it easy in those first hours after their surgery!

Follow Up is Everything

It's true these days that most patients return the day after LASIK already able to see 20/20 without glasses or contacts! In fact, 96% of my patients are able to see 20/20 when I examine them the first day after LASIK. This number climbs to 99% by one month after LASIK when most patients are well healed. I look forward to those visits after surgery almost as much as my patients. LASIK is a truly rewarding experience for everyone involved. But my real goals are not measured in terms of 20/20, rather I hope to help each patient heal in the best way possible for them. I recognize that each of my patients heals uniquely. My top priority is to be there throughout the entire healing process for each patient to fine tune their outcome and give them their best vision after LASIK.
