What Does Your New Vision Mean To You?
I remember the first hours after my own LASIK in 1998. Despite my technical knowledge, I was still absolutely amazed that I could already see 20/20 without my glasses. Even after all these years, I still appreciate the huge convenience of being able to ride my bike, go sailing, and swim with my children free of glasses or contacts. Everyone has their own story about the first time they opened their eyes and could see, really see, after LASIK. I am fortunate to hear every day from my patients just how valuable their new vision is to them. I have chosen to care for my LASIK patients every step of the way from their first consultation to their final post-operative visit because I enjoy the experience of creating better quality of life through LASIK, and I enjoy hearing about it firsthand, person to person.
